At CRISS, we realise that the most important aspect of excellent support services is the staff working on the frontline. We pride ourselves in providing disability support services centred around your needs and in working collaboratively with your circle of support to help you achieve your goals.


NDIS Clients

We are a registered NDIS service provider, and abide by the NDIS practice standards.

We understand that navigating the NDIS can sometimes be challenging, we are here to help support you to meet your goals. CRISS can provide services for your CORE, CAPACITY and CAPITAL budgets, these include:

We can provide services to self-funded individuals living in the community of any age. If you don’t have a home care package or an NDIS plan and would like support with shopping, travel, gardening, maintenance, outings, nursing care, personal care or cleaning services give us a call to discuss. The same price guide will apply for all clients.

Social Participation

Assistance with Social and Community Participation

Assistance with Social and Community Participation covers support for activities that are either centre-based or out in the community. Examples of Social Support may include;

  • Attend personal development courses
  • Join a social group
  • Take an outing or a holiday
  • Go on a holiday camp
  • Visit your local library
  • See a movie or a concert
  • Go to community events
  • Join a sporting club

Personal Activities

Assistance with daily living

Assistance with Daily Living covers assistance with daily personal activities such as personal hygiene activities, or supervision of personal daily tasks; which support a participant to live as independently as possible at home, and in the community. CRISS can therefore provide assistance with daily living activities such as (but not limited to):

  • Household tasks
  • Shared Living Arrangements
  • Bathing and showering
  • Cooking
  • Dressing
  • Continence
  • Feeding

Community Nursing

Assistance with health and specialist care

Our Registered or Enrolled Nurses can assist in your transition from hospital to home or residential facility, or we can provide various clinical management support at your home. Examples of our community nursing include:

  • Management of medications and injections
  • Diabetes management
  • Pressure care and wound management
  • Bowel care
  • Nasogastric feeds
  • Enteral feeding

Household Tasks

Assistance with maintaining your home

Assistance with maintaining your home includes support with gardening, cleaning and home maintenance. Here are some examples of what our dedicated tradespersons can provide to help maintain your home:

  • Mowing lawns and general weeding
  • Pruning your garden
  • Cleaning of gutters
  • Painting
  • Cleaning your home

Home Modification

Assistance with modifying your home

Assistance with modifying your home involves changes to the structure, layout or fittings of your home to ensure safety and comfortability with living in your home. In conjunction with your Occupational Therapist, our experienced builders can provide quotes and construction works for:

Small jobs:

  • Installing ramps
  • Building accessibility ramps
  • Fittings and fixtures
  • Plumbing and showers
  • Hazardous material/waste removal
  • Electricals

Or major modification work:

  • Bathroom modifications
  • House renovations
  • Demolition
  • Structural repairs

Travel and Transport

Assistance with travelling and transport

CRISS is well equipped to providing both general and specialised travelling assistance for personal or community engagement. We occupy a disability bus that will allow us to transport you safely to where you need to go. Some examples of how we can assist your travel needs include:

  • Weekend camping trips/holiday
  • Accompanying and/or transporting within the community
  • Appointments
  • Employment
  • Group or one-on-one engagements
  • Shopping trips
